The Oracle Database (commonly referred to as Oracle RDBMS or simply Oracle) consists of a relational database management system (RDBMS) produced and marketed by Oracle Corporation.
Oracle is a backend tool. Application Developed through ORACLE is of two types:
1.OLTP(online Transaction Processing).
2.OLAP(online Analytical Processing).
The purpose of OLTPis to keep details about day today events in the form of trasaction.
OLAP used for analysis which stores historicle data.
